RBA were appointed to oversee extension of the existing butter production facility in Westbury, Wiltshire.
Works were carried out in 2 phases – the first comprising internal modifications and enabling works, followed by a larger second phase which provided a new build extension (52,000 sq ft). Works also included formation of additional office accommodation and 9Nr external silo bases. In addition, a 65m external service gantry was also constructed to link the extension to the existing energy centre.
Due to time constraints the phases were carefully co-ordinated and “overlapped” so as to minimise construction period (overall period on site 11 months).
